Visual Images offers new bands/singers the opportunity to periodically display in this space photo's, information/promo, music description/style, gig and contact information etc . To apply, e-mail  any desired information and  music sample (for the moment samples need to be .au files in 8-bit, 8000 Hz, mono, u-law format.).

Visual Images offers a one time opportunity of a free illustration for NEW musicians or bands.

the original image will remain the property of Visual Images (VI) and may be used once for any single promotional project (e.g. gig posters or CD covers or advertisements or T-shirts or internet etc) under the condition that the statement: "Image supplied by www.visual-images-online.com" is displayed legibly with each reproduction.

However the original will be available for purchase at a reasonable price and any use of the image after the initial use will be subject to the two payment options bellow, whether the original has been purchased or not.

Any requests for further illustrations will be given the opportunity to select to either

1. Pay 40% of the original illustration fee for each project* plus the 2% royalty on any product sales, or gig ticket/entrance sales (original remaining the property of VI), or
    

2. purchase the original for use on multiple projects and pay the 2% royalty on any product sales,  or gig ticket/entrance sales

Use of existing illustrations: You may select from an existing VI image however, if the original is already sold the quality of any reproductions will be reliant on existing copies. The above two payment options are available for existing illustrations  (if your marketing plan includes multiple projects you may decide to select option 2.even if the image is already sold  as it is a set price rather than having to pay 40% for each use. Though obviously you will not receive the original)**

Use of a modified existing illustrations: You may select from an existing VI image and request the following modifications:

• convert to line art

• convert to black and white

• convert to colour

• edit out parts

• edit in parts

The one off offer for free illustration is available for this selection. For further illustrations both of the above payment options are available with the price being calculated on the original illustration sales fee, plus modification time***

Commissioned Illustrations: An original artwork may be requested under the condition that you are fully aware that the resulting image may not be the same as the image as you may have visualised in your head. I am no psychic, what you will be getting is a visual images original, drawn from your ideas. The easiest way to get close to visualising your idea is to select from the style page

Next, email your selections from above along with the description of your idea in words, in as much detail as you want. Feel free to attach any references or ruff sketches and then allow VI to interpret your idea.

I rough pencil sketch will be available for viewing over the web site before any detail is added. This allows you to make any changes or suggestions.***you may select from both pricing options, however a $50 deposit is required on the acceptance of a viewed rough.

*project definition includes any usage of a VI image in any form, whether already mentioned on this site (gig posters, CD covers, advertisements, T-shirts, internet etc) or not.

**note VI retains the right to reproduce any image for sale (eg cards, prints etc). Depending on your marketing skills, you may consider this as free advertisement. However, no image selected to represent you will be offered to another musician or band.

***Pricing for artwork (including modifications) is calculated at a rate of $12-$17us per hour.
